MEXICO
VISA & IMMIGRATION*
As
long as you are not planning to make money in Mexico and/or stay
longer than 6 months, visa requirements for Mexico are simple.
Citizens of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the US, Japan and most
European countries do not require a visa for Mexico;
a passport valid for at least 6 months and a return ticket
are enough.
Citizens of other countries will have to request a visa at a
Mexican consulate before leaving for Mexico.
We offer several immigration-related services.
Mandatory FM-T visas for foreigners who
enter Mexico for tourism or business
FM-3 visas for long-term stays and
work-related or educational stays in Mexico.
If you plan to stay over 6 months or study or work in Mexico, you
will need an FM-3 visa in most cases. If you are enrolled in our
programs, we will take care of the paperwork needed to obtain your
FM-3 visa.
FM-2 visas are for foreigners planning to
stay in Mexico permanently.
Please note that we
do not provide additional information about obtaining Mexico visas
by phone or email unless you are enrolled in one of our programs
or have paid for our immigration services. For the fees,
