Mexico is the 15th biggest economy in the world, Latin America’s 2nd most important economy, and the United States and Canada's most important trade partner.

With a little fewer than 40 free trade agreements, Mexico is also one of the most globalized countries and a privileged member of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement, whose members are the US, Canada and Mexico.

Mexico is home for some of the most important global businesses: Cemex, the biggest cement producer in the world; Grupo Modelo, well-known for its Corona beer; America Movil, Latin America's biggest cell phone operator; or Televisa, the world’s biggest producer of telenovelas (soap operas) watched in over 100 countries...  However, the list is much longer if you include Bimbo (the biggest bakery business in the world); Grupo Salinas...
